We had an amazing time prepping for HackViolet with our friends from the Association for Women in Computing (AWC)! The energy, the ideas, and the teamwork were nothing short of inspiring. 🌟 Whether you're a hackathon newbie or a seasoned coder, this session was packed with tips and tricks to help everyone shine at HackViolet!

🧑‍🚀 The Astronaut Scholarship Opportunity

The Astronaut Scholarship, founded in 1984 by the Mercury 7 astronauts, is open to exceptional rising juniors and seniors pursuing STEM degrees and offers an award of up to $15,000 per school year!

Beyond the monetary value, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) connects current scholars and alumni with mentorship and networking opportunities that go far beyond your average scholarship. Many Astronaut Scholars secure internships and jobs in their fields thanks to ASF connections. Some even pursue grad school or start their own businesses! 🚀
